Minnehaha Depot - The Wrap-Up
15 July 2007This beautiful weekend was a perfect example of why Least Dangerous Game exists. The weather was perfect, the players were plentiful, the gift certificate was for Schlotzsky’s Deli, and the setting was one I hadn’t been to in years. Proving, as I had hoped, that there was plenty to do in the Twin Cities to do that I never considered before beginning Least Dangerous Game!
The location this week was the Minnehaha Depot, located a Barry Bonds asterisk filled home run away from Minnehaha Falls.

Hey, why don’t we review the clues? That sounds great!
Closest I’ll ever get to a princess.
The Minnehaha Depot was know by train engineers as “The Princess” due to the design of the structure. It looks like it might just be made out of gingerbread. There was no sign of Hansel and Gretle. I can only assume they were already eaten.
Built in 1875
Don’t make me explain this clue please.
Why, I could be at the Longfellow Garden Zoo in 16 quick rotations of the minute hand!
Aside from being a departure point for troops headed to Fort Snelling during both world wars, travelers could make it to the no longer existing Longfellow Garden Zoo in just about 16 minutes.
And with three short clues, I was found by Mike Janssen and Diana Rajchel.

A few minutes later, regular Alan Wyman and his daughter Deanna.

And, not to be left out, Ed Kohler and his wife who may or may not be named Carly performed a drive-by.

While the clues were rather simple, the day turned out perfectly. Winners and sunshine! What more do you need?

Yep, that’s Carly riding shotgun and kind of hiding.

Oh good, you can’t see me foaming at the mouth in the pic.
