But then, there are the secret location sponsors that I couldn’t reveal before the game. But now I can! ROBOTlove, Sauce Spirits & Soundbar, and Galactic Pizza were all kind enough to let a bunch of strangers mill around their businesses. They even helped out with the puzzles and tasks the players of the game needed to complete. They were incredibly generous with their time, and Sauce Spirits & Soundbar offered free pizza and $3 tap beer to anyone playing! They were prepared to make 18 pizzas for players of the game! That’s pretty amazing!

First quirk. We have 3 fantastic location sponsors for today’s game! Which is great, but makes for a short game. Because of this, I will be manning a non-sponsored fourth location at the beginning of the game. So you’ll see me at stops 1 and 4. Don’t get excited the first time you see me (well, you can, but not because you’ve won a thing yet). I’ll be giving you your task for the next leg of the game.

Second quirk. I can not be in two places at once. So there will be a time limit on the first location. If you have not arrived by 1:20pm, you’ll have to wait until 2pm to receive the name of the second location.

Third quirk. This also means you can not check in to location 4 until 1:30pm. I’ve tried to make the tasks a bit challenging, so this shouldn’t be an issue. But, you know, you’re probably smarter than I’m giving you credit for. Maybe you’ll finish all the tasks and puzzles in lightening speed.

Now, for non-quirks.

Take pictures! Lots of pictures! Post them on internet after the game. Show internet the fun you can have on a rainy day in Minnesota.

The Safety. For each task or puzzle, I’ve included a Twitter direct message string you can send me to put a ticking clock on a task you think is difficult. If you haven’t direct messaged me again before 30 minutes is up, to tell me you finished your task or puzzle, you will get the name of your next location or a pass on your current task. If I do end up direct messaging you an answer or pass, you will have a 10 minute penalty added to your finish time. Really, I just don’t want anyone to be stuck and frustrated. It’s a fun, social game.

Complete all your tasks! Not to sound like a teacher, but I’ll be checking your work when you check in at the final destination.
